Instant Ramen Museum — Interactive Cup Noodles Factory

Cupnoodles Museum Osaka Ikeda (カップヌードルミュージアム大阪池田) celebrates the invention of instant ramen by Momofuku Ando in 1958 and Cup Noodles in 1971, both invented in Ikeda City, Osaka. The museum offers hands-on experiences: design your own Cup Noodles packaging, select soup/toppings from 12 options, and watch as your creation is sealed and packaged (My CUPNOODLES Factory, ¥400).

The museum combines food history, Japanese innovation, and interactive experiences appealing to all ages. Exhibits explain Ando's post-war invention process, instant ramen's global spread (100+ billion servings annually worldwide), and the technology behind instant noodle production.

Chicken Ramen Factory: ¥600/person (reservation required). Hours: 9:30–16:30 (last entry 15:30), closed Tuesdays. Visit duration: 1.5–2.5 hours. English available.
