Fujiko F Fujio Museum — Doraemon Creator's World
The Fujiko F Fujio Museum (藤子・F・不二雄ミュージアム) celebrates the work of manga artist Fujiko F Fujio, creator of Doraemon — Japan's most beloved cartoon character, a blue robot cat from the 22nd century. The museum displays original manga manuscripts, animation cels, and personal effects of the artist, while recreating iconic scenes from Doraemon and other Fujiko works. Interactive exhibits include life-size character statues, a reading room with complete manga collections, and a rooftop play area featuring Doraemon's gadgets.
The museum's atmosphere is designed to immerse visitors in Fujiko's creative world — the building exterior features character murals, the cafe serves Doraemon-themed food (blue curry, character-shaped desserts), and outdoor spaces include the 'anywhere door' and other iconic elements from the manga. While Doraemon nostalgia drives adult visitors, the museum equally appeals to children who know the characters from current anime. The audio guide (included with entry) is narrated by Doraemon's voice actress, adding authenticity.
